- Low Socket Heads are high strength, precision fasteners that are designed to be used in applications where head height clearance is a problem.
- Because of their reduced head heigth and smaller socket size, they normally cannot be preloaded as high as a standard socket head cap screw.
- Class 10.9 has a minimum tensile strength of 1040 MPa, or approximately equivalent to SAE Grade 8.
