Bridge pins, also referred to as R-clips, R-keys, or hitch pin clips, are commonly used to secure the ends of hitch pins and clevis pins by being inserted into a hole or groove. The indentation of these pins along with the straight edge ensures secure attachment to the desired parts of equipment. Most bridge pins are manufactured from spring wire or stainless steel, however specialty materials such as marine grade 316 stainless steel can also be used.
