10.2mm Diameter Jobber Drill, 2 flutes, HSCO, TiN Coated, with Coolant, Whistle Notch Shank, 130° Point, Right Hand Cut
Guhring offers a parabolic flute design called GT that allows end users to drill deeper, with less drill retracts and high feed rates. The open flute design decrease chip packing while the parallel web design aids in chip evacuation. Once considered a design for drilling aluminum, Guhring refined the parabolic flute form and developed designs for all materials. No other manufacturer offers the variety of parabolic flute designs that Guhring now offers as standard stocked items.
GT80 parabolic drills have a thicker web design than a GT50 drill for steel, alloyed steel and cast iron materials. The GT80 flute form is available in stub and jobbers length tools where extra rigidity is desirable.
