- Bi-metal blades feature a toothed edge made from high speed steel (HSS) attached to a flexible steel backing through an electron-beam welding process. This configuration results in a blade that makes precise cuts while resisting breakage. They are used on ferrous and nonferrous metals.
- T-Shanks or tang shank blades are used for straight or curved precision cuts. They are constructed with a conical shaped design and have a quick change fastening system for easy attachment and removal.
- Continuous edge blades are made of an even strip of abrasive grains bonded to a steel backing. They are used for cutting titanium, graphite, fiberglass and other hard-to-cut materials.
