Haggard & Stocking Through the Years
1972
Herb Haggard purchased O’Connor and Associates, a one-man tool representative company, representing Electrotools, H&G Tools and Precision Diamond Tool.
Haggard & Stocking was formed when Herb Haggard, of O’Connor and Associates, merged with R.L. Stocking & Associates. Haggard & Stocking’s early focus was primarily blueprint special tooling. This created the foundation of today’s sales force, whose primary focus is on value-added service through technical sales and engineering.
1975
Haggard & Stocking moved to their first location at 60 Churchman Avenue, Beech Grove, Indiana.
1977
Haggard & Stocking was incorporated in the State of Indiana.
1981
Haggard & Stocking Indianapolis, moved to their current building at 5318 Victory Drive.
Haggard & Stocking opened a branch office in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
1992
Haggard & Stocking establishes a Material Handling Division. This division is created for deeper account penetration, as well as expansion in new markets.
Haggard & Stocking enters into a long-term bin stocking agreement with United Airlines. This is the birth of Haggard & Stocking’s Aerospace Division.
1993
Herb Haggard purchased full ownership of Haggard & Stocking and became CEO.
1994
Haggard & Stocking purchases the second building, on our current campus location, for warehouse and office expansion.
The Fort Wayne branch moves into a bigger facility.
2002
Haggard & Stocking entered the safety supply market.
2003
Haggard & Stocking contracts with TIMCO Aerospace, requiring H&S to establish in-plant facilities in four states.
2004
Haggard & Stocking enters into an agreement with L-3 Communications, requiring H&S to open operations in Central Texas.
2005
Haggard & Stocking purchases the third building, on our current campus location, for Aerospace and Material Handling Division expansion.
2007
Haggard & Stocking completely reconstructs front office in Indianapolis.
2008
Haggard & Stocking opens a brand new Ft Wayne Office building at 3508 Focus Drive
2011
Haggard & Stocking’s Waco, TX division moves into a larger facility.
2012
Haggard & Stocking acquires Tri-State Bolt, expanding our line up of products even further.
